這些用戶偶爾會需要一些複雜的音頻編輯。Audition相對於Soundbooth來說過於複雜，適合專業的音頻編輯人員。

Soundbooth取代了Audition，第一次被收錄在Adobe套裝中，並成為AdobeCS3中的一個組成部分。同時Adobe公司表示

仍將繼續生產Audition並向音頻用戶出售。

AdobeSoundboothCS3這款軟體的主要特點在於提供了噪音清除、配樂合成和效果過濾的功能。它的噪音清除工具可以

自動清除背景雜音，如嘶嘶、隆隆、滴答、砰砰以及其他一些人為產生的聲音。或者，用戶還可以通過使用

HealingBrush-style的自動修復功能，對（音頻塊的）光譜分析的可視圖像進行修復。

Soundbooth提供了大量不同音樂主題的配樂，用戶可以利用自動合成器功能為視頻創建自定義的配樂，同時，還可以改
